I really do hop...Thanks, Laura, Tina and Brenda!

I really do hope my insights can help someone out there. :) And I know what you mean, Brenda -- I really wish I had known a lot of this stuff years ago.

But that's where I can give back a little now...like those other writers who have helped me. :)Meg Allisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15862550378971433991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22796638.post-31280285833974468212007-01-05T08:37:00.000-05:002007-01-05T08:37:00.000-05:00Meg, I could have used this information 5 years ag...Meg, I could have used this information 5 years ago. It's excellent and very thorough. I have about a dozen 400 page epics of romance that literally change the pov in every paragraph. I cringe reading them now. But slowly, I'm working at fixing them because they're good stories.

I think new writers will be very lucky to find your blog if you keep giving lessons such as this. I know I've bookmarked to come back and read what you have to say and I'm a published author.

Keep up the good advice ;-)

Brenda
www.BrendaWilliamson.comBrendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18048257347599322737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22796638.post-50639650431422981212007-01-04T00:24:00.000-05:002007-01-04T00:24:00.000-05:00You've got some great tips here, Meg! I didn't like that very much. It took away from the suspense of what was happening in the story.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22796638.post-67804774956545368692007-01-02T22:00:00.000-05:002007-01-02T22:00:00.000-05:00I also think that one of the reasons that the BNAs...I also think that one of the reasons that the BNAs get away with it is that they do it in such a way that a score card isn't required to keep track of who's said/felt/thought whatever. Yanno? It's no fun to read an author who gives you a Tennis Match Headache from hopping from head to head to head... ;)Laura Hambyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18044336755858031990noreply@blogger.com
